Tutoring

I have been working with students as a tutor and a teacher for over 15 years. I have experience with all ages and have worked extensively with students with learning disabilities and ADHD.

I am passionate about tutoring students of all ages in everything from foundational reading and math skills to effective study strategies, helping them grow their abilities and develop lasting confidence in themselves.

Hourly Tutoring

Hourly tutoring is a pay-as-you-go structure that is great for short-term needs like studying for tests or getting through a difficult unit in a course. In this type of tutoring, students bring with them the material that they would like to work on. This could be a current homework assignment, a previous assignment on which they did poorly and would like re-teaching, or notes from a course if they would like to work on studying.

Because this type of tutoring arrangement is less consistent, it is recommended for students in 4th-12th grade. If you are interested in tutoring for younger students and/or tutoring that works on foundational skills (even for older students), consider a tutoring package.
